Whether you're looking for budget accommodation such as camping, or luxury hotels, the Isle of Man can accommodate you. You can use our accommodation guide to help you find the place you'd like to stay in - we list many of the registered accommodation providers in the island.
All accommodation providers on the island must be registered with the Department of Economic Development, who rate all establishments. These Tourism premises are given a quality rating from 1 to 5 Stars. The Isle of Man Star rating harmonises with recognised UK rating sevices such as Visit Britain, the AA (Hotels and Guest Accommodation) etc.
Hostels, however, receive a Listed Classification and Grading and Campsites have a Listed or 1 to 5 Key Classification and Grading and must meet minimum standards.
In addition, some guest accommodation and self-catering accommodation have now been awarded Gold and Silver accolades recognising their high standard of quality, hospitality and services.
During the busy TT and IOM Festival of Motorcycling there is a Homestay scheme in place, operated by Regency Travel, which offers accommodation within local family homes on a bed and breakfast or self-catering basis. All properties listed on the Homestay scheme is checked for compliance to fire and safety standards. More information and a list of available accommodation can be found on their website here.
